Ugg, Australia

Dear friends - Look what I found the other day in a bag in my boy's room - UGGS! I could not believe my eyes!!! Aren't they beautiful? I especially love this little piece of pelt in the front. I hoped that they are a present for me but my son had to disappoint me: No they belong to a classmate of his who had forgotten to take them home after visiting us... Incredible how can any young lady be without them?

Find out more about Ugg.

Whatever brand of shoes you are walking on today: Enjoy every step you take!

Eat Art

When I met this scene it immediately reminded me of the Eat Art by Daniel SpWhen Iörri:

These sculptures can be hung on a wall... Some years ago my son and I compiled a scene like that and gave it as a present to a relative. He immediately liked it and hung it up in his kitchen. Now he is often asked where he bought this Eat Art...

Would you like to read more about Daniel Spörri? Then read here (in German). What do you think about Eat Art? I find it really cool...

All I want to do today...

is to sit or lie on this beautiful roof top, read those magazines and books and let the eyes wander over that city!

Instead there is work waiting for me! If I hurry up though... who knows... there may be one or two hours  of dreaming...

Have a blissful day!

Golden summertime

Summertime pics taken by Sandy Koepke
They make me long for days under the sun umbrella or a tree, when the pebbles in the garden are warm under the bare feet, the air filled with scents from sun-warmed  herbs, days reading, lazying around, playing with the kids, laughter, swimming, eating Mediterranean dishes, drinking crispy, cold wine -
days when nothing is planned but anything possible.

Wishing you a sunny, easy Sunday! Here the weather forecast is excellent!

Actually I was planning...

... to show you my latest piece of  "art" but I was too impatient and hung it up before it was dry... of course it fell down and bursted into pieces...
Instead I show you one plaster image I made at the beginning of this year.
I will work with plaster this afternoon again and I promise I'll endure the time it takes till it is dry and ready for the wall...

Keep your fingers crossed!

PS. Don't forget: It is Friday today! CELEBRATE!
PS. PS. Only six months to go till Christmas Eve - get your decorations ready!

Shopping mile...

Incredible, isn't it?

Une maison où le gris vous sourit

Love the chandelier, the old linen and the fireplace

Like the various collectibles

Would I find my things better in all those drawers?

Cozy kitchen to have a cup of coffee in the morning

Realized that this street light is a trompe l'oeil only at second sight

A table lamp in the bathroom... fantastic

What an unusual house! Very feminine! And all in grey!
More and more I find this color fantastic for a calm interior, incredibly
versatile and applicable to all rooms. What I am missing is a look outside.
I would have loved to see the garden. If it reflects the inside it is romantic and full of old roses...

I guess I will never know but I can make it up in my mind and daydream a little bit...

That's all for today - let's meet tomorrow again!

Love these pictures and I hope you do so too!

I am busy today again - it is my older son's birthday and some friends are coming for dinner!

But first going to work and then time to cook and bake!
